Dental Technician

We are looking for an experienced and ambitious Dental Technician to join our growing dental laboratory, which is attached to a busy, well-established dental clinic in Sheffield.

This is a unique opportunity for someone who wants more than just a technician role. You’ll have the autonomy to establish, develop and lead our Crown & Bridge department, with the support and investment needed to build a high-quality, digitally driven workflow.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up, develop and manage the Crown & Bridge department.
• Design high-quality tooth- and implant-supported restorations using Exocad.
• Operate and optimise digital workflows, including dental 3D printing and milling.
• Lead, mentor and manage technicians within the department.
• Help establish efficient systems and processes to support future growth.
• Work closely with clinicians to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Essential Requirements

• Proven experience as a Dental Technician in Crown & Bridge.
• Extensive experience designing tooth and implant restorations using Exocad.
• Experience operating dental 3D printers and printing a variety of dental materials.
• Experience using dental milling machines.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Punctual, reliable and highly organised.
• A proactive, solution-focused approach with a desire to continually improve processes.
