Senior Bench Worker – with workshop management responsibilities
Our client has been designing fine, intricate jewellery in their London studio. A small business making big waves both nationally and internationally, we are looking for someone with a passion for beautiful jewellery to join the growing team.
Candidates should have considerable experience as a fine jewellery maker including workshop management responsibilities. The ideal candidate should show solid knowledge in wax techniques and in making fine jewellery to a high standard of finish. To be able to turn their hand on producing intricate soldering of small components in precious metal, filing small components and fine wire working.
The candidate should be a highly organised and autonomous individual with good management skills to keep the workshop in good order and work alongside our studio manager in ensuring production is running smoothly. But should also show the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to meet deadlines.
A good understanding of the luxury brands industry would be beneficial. Above all, we are looking for someone with an intuitive approach to metal and other materials, a strong work ethic, and a genuine enthusiasm for jewellery.
4-5 days per week – Competitive salary depending on experience.
